How do I add to the shopping cart?
You can add to the shopping cart basket directly from the products thumbnail page or from the detailed page of a product. Next to the main image of every product there is a box titled "add to cart", within this box there will be a button which you can click on to add this item to the basket.

How do I know my item has been added to the shopping cart?
Once you have clicked on the "add to cart" button to place the item in your shopping cart basket, your page will refresh and the item will be added to your cart. You can then locate the shopping cart basket in either side columns of the online store or the link to "Edit Cart" in the top menu navigation bar. Your items will be listed in the basket, you can also edit them further from here.

How do I get to the checkout?
First locate the shopping cart basket in either side columns of the online store or the link to "Checkout" in the top menu navigation bar. When the link to "Checkout" is clicked on, it will take you directly to the secure checkout for completion of the purchase.

How do I edit my items?
Locate the shopping cart basket on the right side column of the online store and go to "Edit Cart" to edit your shopping basket.

How do I check the shipping cost on my items?
First add the items to your cart you wish to find shipping costs for, then locate the shopping cart basket in the right hand side column of the online store. In this box you will see a link to "calculate shipping". From this page you can enter your postcode and select 'Australia' to calculate the shipping cost on the items in your cart. You can then decide whether to proceed and complete the purchase.

How do I know my order has been received?
Once an order is received to the site owners administration, you will receive an order confirmation email to the address you entered during the sites secure checkout.

How do I track my order? Has it been shipped?
You can check the status of your order by clicking into the "Order Tracking" section via the link on the top menu navigation bar. Alternatively you can use your consignment number to track the item through the Star Track Express Website. For more Shipping Information please see the 'Shipping Information & Policy' page.

Please contact us via the "contact us" page if your order has not been received within the time originally stated in the checkout or what you deem to be reasonable.

When will my backorder arrive?
Your item will be received within the time frame recommended on the product page of the item when it was purchased. If the item is later than expected, please contact the site owner via the "contact us" page.

How do I create an account?
In the right side column of the online store you will see a members box. In this box you can click on the link to go to the secure log in or account creation page. Once you have created the account, you can use this for future purchases where the items you place in your basket will be remembered even if you leave this online store and come back later.

I forgot my password.
On the edit page of your account, found via the "Members" box, there is a link called "Forgotten your password? Click here." This is where you can have your password emailed directly emailed to you.

We only allow purchase and shipping in Australia. We do not accept overseas orders.

What are my payment choices?
Payment options will be listed on the third page of the secure checkout. At the base of the page there will be a drop down list to choose your preferred method. You can select to pay by ANZ eGate for real time secure credit card payments, Pay Pal or direct deposit. Please note: All payments are in real time and no payment information is stored by Vanity Wholesales.

When will my order ship and what are my shipping charges?
First add the items to your cart you wish to find shipping costs for, then locate the shopping basket in the right hand side column of the online store. How long until I receive my new vanity unit?

Delivery usually takes 5-7 business days from the date payment is received by us. Please add 4 business days if you have paid via direct deposit for the funds to transfer and then 5-7 business days for delivery (depending on delivery location). Your delivery location address will also influence the speed of your order. We will advise you when the item has been dispatched via email. More accurate timeframes can be found in the 'Shipping Information & Policy' section.

What if my vanity arrives and it is not what I wanted?

We have an exchange policy within 7 days of receipt of your vanity, if you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may at your cost for shipping return the item for an exchange or credit note. If you choose to receive a credit note it is valid for 6 months from the date of issue only. After this time the credit is void and no longer redeemable.  For more information on exchanges, please read the terms and conditions. You must contact us via email within 7 days of delivery of the vanity unit to arrange the credit or exchange.

What happens if my vanity is damaged during transit or shipping?

Our vanity units are very well packed to withstand travel however we will not accept responsibility for damage caused after the item has left our warehousing facility. We recommend that you purchase additional transit insurance made available to you at the time of purchase to avoid any damage to your goods in transit.

What happens if there is a manufacturers fault in my vanity unit?

Our vanity units are made from quality materials to a high standard, so any fault would be highly unlikely however if you do identify a fault with your vanity unit please contact us to discuss. You can find more information about this in our terms and conditions section of the website.

Do your prices include the ceramic basins or are they additional?

All of our prices include the vanity unit and the matching ceramic or crystallised glass basin depending on the vanity chosen. Some retailers will charge additional for the ceramic basin, we don’t see why you should pay more for a basin when it should be included in the cost of the vanity. This makes our vanities better value for you as it could represent a saving of $200 to $500 for each basin.

All prices in shopping cart are guaranteed to be fair and accurate in our industry market, they will not alter from the time of your purchase to the time you are charged. All prices quoted are in Australian Dollars and include GST of 10%.

Why do your vanities have only one hole in the basin or vanity top?

Generally nowadays people install modern mixer taps when renovating their bathroom. They can save you money, depending on the mixer tap you choose, as there is only one tap for both hot and cold water. Mixer taps only require one hole for installation. We do not offer three hole vanity tops or basins to accommodate for tap sets. We also do not offer a hole free basin or vanity top at this stage. If you are after a vanity unit with 3 holes or without holes please contact us so that we can judge demand and accommodate accordingly.

What if you are out of stock of the vanity unit I want?

Depending on demand for certain vanity units we may from time to time run out of a vanity unit. We ask that you register your interest by contacting us advising of the item you are interested in and we will be able to advise you if we are receiving more stock of the item and when we expect this to arrive.

How do I find a mixer tall enough for my new vanity unit?

On some of our designer vanity units you will need to purchase a tower mixer or tall mixer in order to clear the height of the basin. These mixers are now very popular and you will not have trouble locating a suitable mixer from retailers. Please contact us if you have any queries.

Can I put any vanity unit in an existing bathroom?

Yes. Any vanity can be installed into an existing bathroom. With wall hung vanities you will need the person installing the vanity to ensure that there is sufficient support in the wall to take the weight of the unit. This is easily achieved by removing part of the plaster where the vanity will be installed and adding timber noggins to support the weight of the vanity and eventually its contents. Water and waste points will also need to be in the wall for a wall hung vanity unit. If you do not currently have the water and waste points in the wall a plumber can move these to suit your vanity selection. Any reputable plumber should be able to assist with the installation of the vanity unit.

Information for Installation

Most of our vanity units in the Indulgence Range and the Euro Designer Range have solid 18mm backs on them and as such require the water points to have 45mm of half inch thread from the existing plaster or tiled wall.

Additional fixing screws can be used to secure the wall hung vanity units if required. If fixing the vanity unit to a brick wall or solid concrete you may need to use dynabolts or adequate plugs and screws.

Important: You should not hang a wall hung vanity unit without ensuring the wall has appropriate support internally by way of timber support noggins.

You should have the vanity unit on site when your plumber is roughing in the water and waste points to ensure accuracy of your water points.

Vanity units are commonly installed at a height of 850-900mm from the finished floor. However wall hung vanity units can be installed at a different height if required.

We offer Visa or Mastercard payment via ANZ E-Gate. We also offer direct deposit if you prefer to pay cash for your vanity unit. Please allow additional time for your order to be processed if you are using direct deposit as funds must clear prior to dispatch.

Unfortunately these credit cards incur high fees for transactions. Rather than increase our prices to cover these charges we choose to accept Visa or Mastercard as an alternative. These cards charge considerably less on transactions.

I need a copy of my receipt/invoice
If you require an invoice receipt please contact us via the "contact us" page to have one sent directly to you. We are a green company and will always prefer to email the receipt to you on request rather than send a paper copy. Please advise us how you would like to receive your receipt in your request.

Your credit card is charged immediately on purchase, if your card cannot be charged, the goods you ordered will not be sent.

Our business is operated online to reduce our overheads so we can pass on the savings to you. Our aim is to make quality designer vanity units affordable for you. We don't believe in having a retail store only to make our products more expensive and encourage you to try our quality designer products at a fraction of the retail price found in major supplier outlets.
