Manufacturer Faults Policy - Returns & Exchange
No refund will be issued unless an item is found to be faulty* and a replacement of this item is not in stock. If a replacement of the item or faulty part is available, the replacement item or part will be issued to the original delivery address. If we request that the unit is returned to us, the replacement part or product will be sent upon receipt and inspection of the faulty unit. Vanity Wholesales will incur the return shipping fees of the item if there is a manufacturers fault and we agree that there is a fault. We may ask you to provide digital photos in order to substantiate the fault and to decide on any action we will take. If the fault or defect identified is not visable when the product is installed [e.g. slight cosmetic scratch on the bottom or back of the item] and the fault or defect does not inhibit the look or operation of the item in any way we will not issue a refund for the item. Please contact us if you have any questions.
Important: Manufacturer Faults must be notified to Vanity Wholesales within 7 days of receipt of your purchase. Therefore you should carefully inspect your goods upon receipt. If you identify any fault with the product please contact us via the 'Contact Us' section of this website.
Vanity Wholesales will not accept liability in relation to placement of the product in unsuitable environments or conditions including but not limited to; direct sunlight, high wind areas, outdoors or exposed to the elements. Our quality vanity units are intended for indoor bathroom use under normal bathroom conditions.
*Faulty does not include any liability for faulty workmanship upon installation. Faulty workmanship can include any damage to the product or products during installation such as scratching, denting & cracking or water damage caused by incorrect installation of the unit or plumbing fixtures & fittings. This includes pop-up wastes being over tightened and causing damage to the basin.
Factory Seconds Stock - No Warranty or Exchange
If you have purchased a vanity unit marked 'Factory Seconds' in the category &/or description, the price charged for the item takes into account any imperfection in the finish of the item purchased. These items are new in the box but do not meet Vanity Wholesales strict quality standards and as such have been reduced to clear this stock. In most cases there are minor imperfections found in the finish on the bottom of the vanity unit which is not seen when installed. There may be imperfections on the face of drawers where handles are located which are not seen or barely seen when the handles are installed. The ceramic basins, counter tops and crystalised glass basins are generally in perfect condition and do not show any imperfections. All factory seconds are operational and defects are cosmetic only. Vanity Wholesales will not provide a warranty on these products and will not refund or exchange these goods. You can make great savings on these products but please choose carefully when purchasing a factory second product.
Warranty
Vanity Wholesales will provide a 1 year warranty on all products [except for Factory Seconds, see above] for manufacturer faults or defects* prior to installation. This warranty does not include faulty workmanship upon installation of the item. It is limited to the operation of drawers and hinges only for the duration of 12 months from the purchase date on your invoice. Please feel free to contact us if you have any queries with your purchase.
Installation by a non-licenced plumber or builder instantly voids your warranty. We strongly recommend you get a licensed tradesperson install your vanity unit in order to maintain the full warranty on the product.
*Defects do not include faulty workmanship or careless handling during transport, installation or operation of the item. To avoid damage due to careless handling during transport we recommend you purchase additional insurance which is made available to you on each product at the time of purchase. Unfortunately, after the purchase has been made, insurance cannot be added to the sale. Please consider this option carefully before you proceed with your purchase.
Vanity Wholesales will not accept any liability arising as a result of careless transportation or handing of the item. You should purchase insurance to cover the safe transport of your purchase to your delivery location to protect you in the event that the item is damaged in transit. This insurance ends once the item purchased reaches the delivery address. You will not be covered for any damaged caused after you take possession of the goods.
Vanity Wholesales will not accept any liability arising as a result of incorrect installation of water or waste points. Water damage is not covered by this warranty. You should ensure a licensed plumber is used to install any water and waste points. Vanity Wholesales will not be held liable for damage caused to any basin or counter top where a pop-up waste has been over tightened causing damage to the basin.
Vanity Wholesales head office is located at 15 Electric Avenue Glenroy, VIC 3046. Vanity Wholesales warehousing facility is located at 11 Lawson Street Wagga Wagga, NSW 2650. All purchases are dispatched from the warehousing facility to your chosen delivery address.
Each Vanity Unit is created using high quality, durable materials. Due to transportation there may be some variation in cupboard doors lining up correctly. This cannot be avoided as all vanities come fully assembled. If you find that there is a misalignment in doors this can easily be rectified by gradually tightening or loosening the first screw on the hinge as required. This may also occur after time once the vanity has been installed.
